FACTS about you at two months: At your 2 month check-up you weighed 10 lbs 5 oz and measured 22.5 inches long. You are in the 50th percentile for length, 25th percentile for weight and 10th percentile for your head circumference, which makes you long and lean with a cute little head. You are wearing sleeper PJs in size 0-3 for the length, but the rest of your clothes are still newborn size. Your 0-3 clothes still swallow your little torso. You had your first shot with the doctor this week. Fortunately, you were able to receive three vaccinations (Tdap, pertussis, and Hep B) in one injection. Thank goodness for that! You did great and only screamed for a few seconds; however, I do not think your daddy will ever handle those situations well .. he had to sit down and collect himself when his vision started to go. Ha! You were just fine the day after your shot and super fussy for the next two to three days.
This past month has been all about learning how to help you work through your sensitive little tummy pains. You are super gassy and you don't handle your little tummy pains well at all! It was stressful for a few weeks trying to figure out how to help you through it .... but we seem to have found what works with gas drops before every feeding and we switched you from Avent bottles to Dr. Brown's bottles, which seem to have helped a lot. You didn't like the massive amounts of salad mommy ate for several days and you absolutely refuse starbucks coffee, which is really sad for mommy. Someday remind me to tell you about the night we tried gripe water for the first and final time. Ha!
This past month we have loved getting to know more of your sweet little personality as you are awake and interacting more and more. You smile and coo and make the sweetest noises when we talk to you. You LOVE to be held and cuddled and your favorite spot is nuzzled in on a cozy shoulder. Your still not great with the pacifier. It is absolutely necessary to have around at all times, but you make us hold it in for the few minutes you choose to use it and then your done. Ha! You have made a few stretches of a 4 hour sleep during the night, but just a few. You and I still have lots of quality time during the wee hours of the night.
